A Small Group Ministry for Those New to the Church

 

Starting Point is one of our LINKS small group opportunities designed specifically for new members and new attendees at the United Methodist Church of Chillicothe. Getting into a small group is a wonderful, effective way to connect with the church and with other believers and seekers. God calls his children to fellowship together, to encourage each other’s hearts when we are troubled and to hold each other accountable when we miss the mark. A small group provides this opportunity.

 

Starting Point is facilitated by our Adult Ministry Leader, Lou Cowherd, and other staff and lay members who will lead small group discussions around topics of the basics of the Christian faith, our connectional system, the sacraments, elements of worship and the ministries of the church.
