UMYF (Middle School)
for 7th and 8th gradeers meets
each Sunday from 5-6:30 pm
in the Youth Center.

Youth Bible Study
Smart Dogs Bible Study & 

Discipleship meet every 

Wednesday evening during

  the school year from 7-8:30 pm

  in the Youth Center.

 

UMYF (High School)
for 9-12 grade students, meet
each Sunday from 6:30-8:00 pm
in the Youth Center.

Scholarship Applicants Invited

 

     If you are pursing a college or graduate school

course in a medically related field and you are a 

member of the United Methodist Church, you 

may qualify for financial assistance from a scholarship program established in memory 

of the late Miss Jessie Gibson. 

To apply, student must submit the following to the 

Church Office:

* Official high school transcript; or, if the student 

has already completed a year or more of study 

at the post-secondary level, send the post- secondary transcript.
* Statement from the student (approximately 

one page) describing his/her course of study 

and goals for the future.


Deadline to apply is April 1st.

FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 

DEADLINE APPROACHES


The Missouri United Methodist Foundation 

administers two scholarship funds providing 

assistance to United Methodist students 

pursuing post-secondary education at the 

vocational or undergraduate level. The deadline 

for scholarship applications is April 1.

Students submit a single application to be 

considered for the Clint and Marge Hawkins 

Scholarship Fund and the Judge Leah B. 

McCartney Scholarship Fund. In general, 

the Hawkins Fund provides four to six 

scholarships up to a maximum of $500 each. 

The McCartney Fund provides two scholarships 

up to a maximum of $1,500 each.

To apply, student must submit the following

to the Foundation office:

* Official high school transcript; or, if the 

student has already completed a year 

or more of study at the post-secondary level, 

send the post-secondary transcript.
* Letter of recommendation from student's pastor.
* Statement from the student (approximately 

one page) describing his/her course of study and goals for the future.
* Photograph of the student for publication purposes.

DORIS & FORREST SENSENICH 

Foundation Scholarship Available


    
If you are pursing a college or university 

degree related to music or family science field or 

education, and you are a member of the United 

Methodist Church, you may qualify for financial 

assistance from a scholarship program established 

by the Doris and Forrest Sensenich Foundation 

and the United Methodist Church. 

To apply, student must submit the following 

to the Church Office:

* Official high school transcript; or, if the student 

has already completed a year or more of study 

at the post-secondary level, send the 

post-secondary transcript.
* Statement from the student 

(approximately one page) describing his/her

course of study and goals for the future.

Deadline to apply is April 1st
